Lord Agni is the divine priest and the receiver of all Havan offerings. He purifies everything he touches.

1. Agni Gayatri: ॐ महाज्वालाय विद्महे अग्निदेवाय धीमहि। तन्नो अग्निः प्रचोदयात्॥ 2. Agni Mantra: ॐ अग्नये नमः॥

1. Gayatri: We meditate on the great fire, the lord of light. May Agni Dev illuminate our intellect. 2. Mantra: I bow to Agni Dev.

Chant while lighting a lamp or performing a Havan. Face East.
